"Co" means "together".

At etampa, there's something very special about co-engineering, since "co" always means working towards a common goal. For us, co-engineering means ensuring our etampa-specific process expertise is already contributing to part design at an early stage in development. In co-engineering at etampa, the goal we work towards with our customers is to identify the ideal, cost-optimised stamping or fineblanking production process.CO ENGINEERING

Minor adjustments, major impact.

By drawing on our expertise and technical input, production for etampa customers can start directly under optimum conditions. We take great care to ensure we have a precise understanding of the specifications and function of the part in question: only then are we able to define functional tolerances and test regimes. Once completed jointly by etampa and our customers, the blueprint, now optimised for stamping, has a lasting impact on the design and lifetime of die tools and their regrinding cycles. This influence also extends to effects on production plant availability and, naturally, on part price and thus on the overall return on investment. Sometimes, minor adjustments really do have a major impact.

Co-engineering = co-responsibility.

At etampa, we're on your team. After a detailed review and analysis of all of the production components, we draw your attention to potential improvements, and to ways in which we can accelerate or improve the cost-effectiveness of your production. As one example, co-engineering can result in small adjustments to the original part blueprints that translate into significant gains in productivity. We might be able to cut the costs of production by making changes to tolerances or materials. Or we might find stamping strip optimisations that slash the rate of material consumption. Because, at etampa, we believe co-engineering also means co-responsibility.
